"Damnit, Gale. Do you really expect me to understand with just that? What forbidden techniques have you learned? And tell me more of this dimensional travelling." Puffs on the cigar and begins coughing. "Ugh. . been a while." Takes another puff.

"Tell me, what would killing me accomplish? I have done nothing of harm to you.."

Ayn snorts. "Oh, don't give me that ****. You know very well that it's your fault I almost died." With that she moves the sword downward and plunges it straight into Laena's back.

Not expecting Ayn to attack so quickly, Laena screams, not necessarily in pain, but rather in shock.

Laena drops to her knees as Ayn pulls out her sword, and she clutches her stomach, which is gushing blue blood.. The blood pools up in her hands, and she turns and flings it at Ayn's face.

Ayn ducks, and the blood splatters on the wall, dripping down the the ground. She smirks and attacks again.

The barrel of Sin presses against the back of Ayn's head. "This time no truce nor angel will be saving you." A loud "click" echoes across the room.

Gale sidesteps to avoid Ayn's sword and uses Sin to try and pistol whip her. "You made a mistake coming here!!"

Laena lies on the floor in a pool of blue blood, slipping in and out of consciousness.

Gale kicks Ayn's sword across the room. Rage burns in his eyes, but a sadistic grin forms on his face. "I think your luck has run out this time." Gale tries to kick Ayn in the face and thinks quickly. "Even without a weapon, if she uses an element she could still prove to be a threat. I have to find a way to block or drain her magic..."

Sin morphs into a sword again and the blade glows black. "Santo Nero." A blast of dark holy fires from Sin and into Ayn.

Gale sheathes Sin, satisfied that Ayn won't be getting up anytime soon. "Now you know what you're little holy attack feels like." Gale laughs cruelly and glances at Laena. He doesn't keep Ayn out of his sight however. "I seem to remember a crucifiction that was enjoyable, want to try that again?" Gale grins broadly.

Gale screams in pain and fires a blast of Santo Nero at Ayn as she fires Holy at him. As he talks he grinds his teeth. "You can't win, your edge is gone. Now you don't have any advantage!"

"Is that so?" She wrenches in pain at the blasts of dark holy, but still has her hands tightly around Gale's leg, sending blasts of holy energy into his body.

Gale grits his death. He manages to turn Sin back into a gun and fires at Ayn's arm, in an attempt to get Ayn to let go of his leg. "Let...go of...me you..bitch."

Gale leg buckles and Gale collapses. He breathes heavily, but still has the strength to move. "I..always..was...better." Gale coughs up some blood and props himself up against a wall. "What a ****ty past few days..."

Gale breathes slow, ragged breaths as he glances across the room. He notices the fallen Laena, but not the fact that hasn't move in a while. "You alright?"

Gale looks back at Laena when he doesn't get a response. "....Goddamnit." Gale slowly picks up Sin and uses it as a cane to stand. He takes a few more deep breaths. "Just wonderful. I have to get Ayn out of my castle and Laena somewhere else. Friggin peachy." Gale holds out a wavering hand towards Ayn, he had nowhere near enough strength to kill his enemy, but he wasn'tt about to risk her getting up either. Gale's hand glows and a black sphere forms around Ayn. Gale leans against the wall, he was rather injury prone lately. "I'll need to make a note to really look into that defenses thing." Gale slowly makes his way over to Laena and remembers when she saved him in the cafe the night before. "I suppose I owe you this." Gale picks up Laena to the best of his ability and moves the short distance between the kitchen and the library. "I know you're neutral one, but some neutral kind of help would go a long way at this point.."

By this time, One was just leaning against the wall watching the fight. He gets up and helps Gale carry Laena. "She is strong, I must say. Always seems to keep up with you. But enough of that, why do you suppose the Siren still hasn't healed?"

Gale looks at the huge puddle of blood where Laena was previously and then at One, a somewhat annoyed look on his face. He gives no other indication of care on the subject. "Watch Ayn, you're not weakend by holy. I'd kill her now, but I'm in no condition to at the moment. I don't care what you do, just make sure I don't see her in my castle. I'm sealing off the library for now. Talk to me telepathically when you need to get in again." Gale sets Laena down near a book case and collapses into a desk. He takes the red wine that he must of left there from a previous occasion and pours a glass. "I ****ing deserve this one." Gale gulps down the wine and tries to regain his breath.

One nods to Gale. "You just try to rest up." One heads back to the room where Ayn is in. "So helpless. . . But you sure are something. . how is it that you are so strong. . ?" One stands there pondering to himself. But he remembers he has something to do. He reaches into the bubble, making it disappear, and he carries Ayn on his shoulders. He goes outside and begins to fly away in the direction of Tri Link's Cafe.

Rose looks at the castle doors, looming up in front of her. Taking a deep breath and firmly crushing her fears, she opens the door slowly. Her heightened sense of tension throws her into her demon form. Seeing herself in a mirror, she scowls and shakes her head. "G-Gale Onarav?" She calls out in the empty hallway.

Gale does not here Rose due to the distance between the library and gates. Besides, after the barrage of holy, Gale is having trouble merely staying concscious. He tries to drink some more wine, but knocks it over. "Damnit."

A hand rests on the shoulder of the young Rose. "Another intruder? A young one. . Is there any special reason for your presence here?" One had just arrived to the castle and saw Rose. While addressing the girl, he contacted Gale. "A young girl is here to see you, Gale. I do not know who she is, but do not open the library up yet. And by the way, I have dropped Ayn off. I will not tell you where for I fear you may seek her out, but she won't be coming back anytime soon. I'll try to figure out who this girl is."
